About Uplifting Outdoors
Uplifting Outdoors is an official 501(c)3 charity organization registered in Pennsylvania. During CJ’s journey he found the hope to keep fighting cancer from life changing, dream hunts. Even while still fighting his own battles CJ knew had to start giving back and helping others fight their with them.
How the Outdoors Became a Second Chance on Life
Hunting Trips of a Life Time
CJ was diagnosed with cancer at 12 years old, celebrating his 13th birthday in the hospital.
Across the next 2 years, his battle was tough including 2 life flights, over 90 nights in the hospital, over 50 blood transfusions, infections, fevers, severe weight loss, & pure exhaustion.
Many organizations gifted CJ hunts like an Elk Hunt in Oregon. Being a true outdoorsmen, CJ credits these hunts for giving him the hope to keep fighting, and for saving his life.
Now CJ wants to give that same hope to the next person in need of it.
Our First Events
We just launched in late 2024. Hosting 3 events throughout 2025, we raised almost $20,000.
Spreading Hope & Helping Others
Many organizations had an impact on CJ, all of which inspired him to find his own way to gather a community & make a difference.
As we grow we will begin awarding hunts to those in need. In the mean time, we will also continue to partner with these organizations like Camo Cares, by donating, attending their events, and supporting their causes.

We launched in late 2024. Outside of our own busy lives, we have been actively planning since then. As we continue to learn, grow in numbers, so will our overall reach & impact we are going make.
